Platinum Control Status Icons
Green
The green checkmark icon indicates that all is well. The device attached to the account is operating within expected parameters. In a Summary row it means that all devices below that row in the tree hierarchy are operating within expected parameters.
Orange
The orange question mark icon indicates that something unexpected has occurred with the device. The device attached to the account may be operating marginally outside of expected parameters.
This status will sometimes resolve itself (e.g. a device that temporarily lost an internet connection). At other times an action by the operator is required to move the status back to “green”. Generally this icon is accompanied with more detailed information on the nature of the problem, with suggested steps to resolve the issue. In a Summary row the orange question mark means that at least one of the devices below that row in the tree hierarchy are operating outside of expected parameters.
Red
The red exclamation icon indicates that something is wrong with the device. The device attached to the account may be operating outside of expected parameters, or has failed in a way that may prevent it from operating. In a Summary row a red exclamation means that at least one of the devices below that row in the tree hierarchy are reporting a significant issue that should be addressed.
Most times an action by the operator is required to move the status back to “green”. Generally this icon is accompanied with more detailed information on the nature of the problem, with suggested steps to resolve the issue.
Grey
The grey dash icon indicates that no data is available. This could be due to the fact that there is no Smart Player device connected to the account, or that server is waiting for information from device before displaying a status.
Grey Star
The grey star icon indicates an opportunity to upgrade. For example, if the account is upgraded to Platinum Control, additional information behind the grey stars will be revealed.
