How to Playback your Media in Full Screen Mode

Every Playlist that you create has a layout option that will be applied to all Media items. In the example below, the Playlist is utilizing the Smith layout. This specific layout is separated into three panels (or widgets). One panel displays the weather widget, another displays a Reuters RSS News feed/Clock and the third area displays your Media items.

But what if you wanted to play all or some of your Media items in Full Screen mode? There are three different ways that you can accomplish this:

1. Play All Media Items in Full Screen Mode Using a Layout

STEP 1: Select the Playlist that would like to edit from the PLAYLISTS page.

STEP 2: Select the PROPERTIES option, located in the setting menu in the upper right hand corner of the page.

STEP 3: Click on the Layout drop-down menu and then select the FullScreen layout.

This will remove all addition widgets and will only play your media items in Full Screen mode. It is important to note that this is a setting that applies to the whole playlist. You can not pick and choose which media items that the Full Screen setting is applied to.

2. Play Some Media Items in Full Screen Mode from the Playlist Editor

If you would like use a different Playlist layout but you would like to have some of your Media items playback in full screen mode then you can simply adjust a Full Screen toggle setting from within the Playlist editor:

STEP 1: Select the Playlist that would like to edit from the PLAYLISTS page.

STEP 2: Select the MEDIA option, located in the setting menu in the upper right hand corner of the page.

STEP 3: Click on the Full Screen/Layout toggle icon  on all media items that you wish to playback in Full Screen mode. If you want the Media item to playback in full screen mode then the icon should look like this:  If you would like the media items to play in the Layout mode then the icon should look like this: 

3. Play Some Media Items in Full Screen Mode from the Media Editor

This option produces the same result as option 2. The only difference is that you apply the Full Screen setting from the Media item itself from within the Media editor:

STEP 1: Select the Media item that would like to edit from the MEDIA page.

STEP 2: Select the PROPERTIES option, located in the setting menu in the upper right hand corner of the page.

STEP 3: Click on the Full Screen/Layout toggle icon  on all media items that you wish to playback in Full Screen mode. If you want the Media item to playback in full screen mode then the icon should look like this:  If you would like the media items to play in the Layout mode then the icon should look like this:
