After Installation I Only See A Black Screen
If you have finished installing your Connect device and only see a black screen on your display then attempt the following troubleshooting steps:
- Verify that you are viewing the correct HDMI source or “input” on your display. Many displays have 2 or more HDMI ports and it could be possible that you are not viewing the correct port.
- Try an alternate power source. It could be possible that your power source is not sufficient to power the device. If this is the case there are multiple power options that can be tried.
- Try an additional HDMI port. There could be an issue with the HDMI port you are currently utilizing. Try installing the device on another HDMI port and then reboot the device.
- If you are using the HDMI extender cable, try installing the device without it to verify that there is not an issue within the cable itself.
